About
June Rodrigo is a social documentary photographer based in Paris. Her photos highlight the resilience of people responding to climate change and social crises.
She travels to far reaches of the planet to carry out long term studies of communities that are not ordinarily in the public eye, to raise awareness of the global reaches of climate change and its impacts.
She has developed a style of photography that lies at the boundary of documentary and artistic photography, finding images that both portray a story and have an impact and beauty in their own right. Hidden within the images is often a sense of quiet loneliness as people face themselves and their lives.
She has studied Creative Documentary and Photojournalism at the Magnum Photos Agency in Paris.
